STI Myanmar University, formerly known as STI Education, was founded in Myanmar in early 2006 with the commitment of providing academic programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
It comprises of four major Faculties: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Education & Linguistics and Faculty of Engineering.
It is one of the top private education providers in Myanmar conducting courses in business and finance, engineering, human resource management, education and English proficiency programs, in collaboration with international universities and the National Management University under the Ministry of Education, Myanmar.

STI Myanmar University formerly named STI Education started in 2006 offering courses principally focusing on Teacher Training Diploma programmes, business management and English Language diplomas. By 2013 the school had expanded to more than 1500 students spread out in its three campuses. The enrollment keep increasing as a result of programmes and courses offered from strong positive reputation, sound market targeting and robust competitive edge. From one campus in downtown Yangon, STIMU now occupies three campuses all located in the prime commercial areas of Yangon. To date there are more than 2000 students studying at STIMU. To date, STIMU has grown to a mature academic institution with excellent academic reputation and the most prestigious private higher education University in Yangon with comprehensive program portfolio. There are five faculties, namely, Faculty of business, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Education and Linguistics, Faculty beauty art and Faculty of Health Science. In the near future another campus in Mandalay is to be extended in widening STIMU's provision.

STI has three campuses and each of them is well equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Each campus has spacious classrooms with projectors, air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, library, conference and discussion rooms, cafeteria, assembly hall, recreational area and sports rooms. Students learn and interact in a modern, clean, comfortable and safe environment where the culture is student-centered. Classroom delivery is in the interactive way to stimulate the learning of our students.
STI's excellent reputation has been achieved through its good knowledge of the various market segments and by providing proven quality education to develop the Myanmar's most valuable human assets. We offer Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Master and 'Teachers' Training qualification. Our program include Bachelor in Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, International Business, Master of Financial Services, Master of Engineering, Master of Business Administrator and Master of Education. While Our Teacher Training Programs include Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Young Learners and Teenagers (TEYLT), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Post Graduate Leading and Managing for Effective Education, Post Graduate Child Development and Post Graduate Learning, Curriculum and Assessment. Each course program is carefully designed to provide the students with the intellectual foundations necessary to expose them to current knowledge that will help them build successful future and careers with greater community service.
